Dane Ghyll Community Primary School and Nursery

Our Baby Room

Our brand new, purpose-built baby room, alongside our highly experienced room team, offer the perfect setting to nurture, develop and care for your baby.

Our babies' development is guided by their individual interests, and we build on this foundation through a strong emphasis on language development (including BSL), sensory exploration, social growth,  physical development and play.

Each child is supported by their own key person, who begins building a strong, trusting relationship with your child and, just as importantly, with you their parents.

We share your child’s development and milestones with you daily through our online learning journal, 'Famly'. (Which is spelt without the 'i', It's not a typo!)

Our core hours are from 8.50pm - 3.00pm, (2.00pm on Friday)  and we offer additional wrap-around care in the form of breakfast and after-school club, 8.00am - 5.00pm (Monday - Thursday, 8.00am - 2.00pm on a Friday)

Our baby room offers care from 9 months until 2 years old and then children move through our nursery rooms and hopefully into Reception.  Your child could start with us at 9 months and stay with us until they are 11!
